Brevo, formerly Sendinblue

Your Brevo email marketing agency, inside the account you already own.

A Brevo email marketing agency plans, writes, designs and sends email campaigns inside the Brevo account your business already owns. EmailMarketingAgency.com does it for $1,000 a month for 8 finished Brevo campaigns, with segmentation, A/B tests, QA and deliverability checks included. Brevo, formerly Sendinblue, bills you for the software, and nothing sends without your approval.

Last updated October 27, 2026

A half used Brevo account usually looks the same: contacts imported, one template saved, no campaign in months. As a Brevo email marketing agency, we turn that account into a sending schedule: eight campaigns a month, built in your Brevo account, for one flat fee and no long contract. You keep the account, the contacts and the templates; we handle everything from the calendar to the report.

Is Brevo the same as Sendinblue?

Yes. Sendinblue announced its new name, Brevo, on May 4, 2023, according to the company's own press release, and the platform kept running under the new brand. Today Brevo also sells SMS, WhatsApp, live chat and a sales CRM. So if you were looking for a Sendinblue agency, an agency that runs Brevo campaigns is the same thing.

What does a Brevo email marketing agency do each month?

We do the work in the table below. Your side adds up to about an hour a month.

Which Brevo plan do you need?

Brevo bills you directly, and your plan decides which tools we can use. These are USD list prices from Brevo's pricing page in October 2026. Paid plans are priced by monthly email volume, so the price rises as you send more.

Brevo planListed price (USD)What it means for managed campaigns
Free$0Up to 300 emails a day, Brevo branding stays, no A/B testing
StarterFrom $9 a month, 5,000 emails includedSingle user; removing the "Sent with Brevo" footer costs extra; no A/B testing
StandardFrom $18 a monthA/B testing, send time optimization, automation, no Brevo logo
ProfessionalFrom $499 a monthTen user seats, WhatsApp, contact scoring, phone support
EnterpriseCustom quoteDedicated IP, several brands under one account

For most clients we recommend Standard. Subject line A/B testing is part of every month we run, and Brevo only offers it from Standard up. Check your seat count too, because we need our own login. Brevo's pricing data caps Starter at one user seat. Standard includes one seat, with each extra seat listed at $12 a month. Professional includes ten.

How many emails do eight campaigns use?

Multiply your list size by eight. A list of 1,200 contacts needs 9,600 sends a month, which the free plan cannot cover: at 300 emails a day, a 30 day month tops out at 9,000. On Starter and Standard, Brevo's pricing reference also sets a marketing contact cap for each email tier, so check both numbers.

Monthly email tierContact cap on Starter and StandardLargest list for 8 campaigns a month
5,000 emails500 contacts500 contacts
10,000 emails1,500 contacts1,250 contacts
15,000 emails2,500 contacts1,875 contacts
20,000 emails and up500,000 contactsThe tier divided by eight

So that 1,200 contact list belongs on the 10,000 email tier. Professional allows up to 2,000,000 contacts at every tier. Still deciding on a platform? See how Brevo compares with the other email platforms we manage.

What do we check on Brevo campaigns before they send?

  • Sender. The from address sits on your own authenticated domain, never a free webmail address.
  • Audience. The right segment is selected, with long inactive addresses and recent buyers of the sale item left out.
  • Links. Every link works and carries UTM tags for Google Analytics.
  • Footer. A working unsubscribe link and your postal address, as the CAN-SPAM Act requires. Brevo says it handles the visible unsubscribe link in marketing emails automatically; we still check ours on every test send.
  • Rendering. Test sends checked in Gmail, Outlook and Apple Mail, on phone and desktop, including subject line and preview text.
  • Spam score. Checked and fixed before scheduling.
  • Timing. Scheduled for the recipients' time zone, not ours.

How do you authenticate your domain in Brevo?

Since February 2024, Google's email sender guidelines require anyone sending 5,000 or more messages a day to personal Gmail accounts to set up SPF, DKIM and DMARC, support one click unsubscribe on marketing mail and keep the spam rate in Postmaster Tools below 0.3%. Yahoo and Microsoft set similar rules; our email deliverability checklist covers all three. Brevo says it adds the one click unsubscribe header itself. The DNS records are on you, or on us with your permission. Based on Brevo's instructions, the setup takes six steps:

  1. Add your sending domain in Brevo. If it can connect to your domain provider, Brevo adds and verifies the records itself.
  2. Publish the Brevo code, a TXT record that proves you own the domain.
  3. Add DKIM. Depending on your account, Brevo shows either two CNAME records or one TXT record; copy exactly what it displays. On Cloudflare, switch off CNAME flattening for CNAME records, because Brevo's help center notes that flattening makes DKIM fail.
  4. Set up DMARC as a single record. If your domain already has one, add Brevo's rua reporting address to it rather than publishing a second record.
  5. Leave SPF alone unless you buy a dedicated IP. Brevo says SPF and MX records are not required to authenticate a domain and only provides them for dedicated IP setups.
  6. Verify in Brevo, then send a test to a Gmail address and open Show original to read the authentication results in the full header.

Authentication is one part of the monitoring included in our email deliverability service.

How do we read Brevo A/B tests and open rates?

Brevo A/B tests come with their own rules

A Brevo A/B test sends two versions to a sample, picks a winner by open rate or click rate, then sends the winner to the rest. Brevo's help center lists limits: no combining it with send time optimization, and it only reaches contacts who already received a Brevo campaign from you, so a new account sends a regular campaign first. Brevo suggests at least 5,000 recipients. On smaller lists we repeat a test over several months before calling a winner. Our guide to writing and testing email subject lines shows the kind of variations we try.

Apple Mail Privacy Protection inflates opens

Apple Mail can load messages in the background, which counts as an open whether anyone read the email or not. Brevo's help center says Apple MPP opens and bot activity count toward open rates by default, with settings to exclude both, and warns that open based tests are less reliable for Apple Mail users. So we often judge subject lines by clicks, and your report says which open rate setting it uses. Our guide to the email marketing metrics worth tracking explains why.

What is not included in our Brevo service?

  • Your Brevo subscription, which Brevo bills to you.
  • Automated flows (welcome, abandoned cart, post purchase). Ask and we will price them on their own.
  • Transactional emails such as receipts and password resets.
  • Moving contacts and templates into Brevo from another platform.
  • SMS and WhatsApp campaigns, even though Brevo sells both.
  • Brevo's sales CRM, pipelines and live chat, and paid ads.

What kinds of Brevo campaigns do we write?

Three real campaigns we planned, wrote and designed. They ran on various platforms and we never publish client results, but each idea builds the same way in Brevo.

  • ExpenseTracker, "New Month, Clean Ledger." An activation email for a WhatsApp expense app, timed to November 1 falling on a Sunday, the day of its weekly summary.
  • Whapi, "Black Friday Prep." A B2B email urging Shopify merchants to set up WhatsApp flows early, because Meta template approval can take up to 24 hours.
  • A snowbird email. "Winter Sites on the Water" for Lake Buchanan RV Resort in Burnet, TX, aimed at long winter stays.

More examples are on our email marketing examples page, and app businesses can read how we plan email campaigns for SaaS companies.

How do we get started in your Brevo account?

  1. Free audit. Request a free email audit. We review your list health, domain records, recent Brevo campaigns and missed dates, and you get an example calendar for next month. It is free and commits you to nothing.
  2. Access. You add us as a Brevo user and stay the owner of the account, contacts and templates.
  3. Calendar. You approve the first month of eight campaigns.
  4. Drafts. Each email gets up to two revision rounds, and nothing sends until you sign off.
  5. Report. One plain English report at month end.

The full breakdown of the flat fee is on our email marketing pricing page.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a Brevo email marketing agency cost?

We charge $1,000 a month, flat, for eight finished Brevo campaigns, with copy, design, testing, scheduling and a monthly report included. Brevo bills your plan separately; Standard is listed from $18 a month and rises with your email volume. There is no long contract, so you can stop after any month.

Can you run my campaigns on the free Brevo plan?

We can, but it is rarely a good fit. Brevo's free plan caps sending at 300 emails a day and keeps Brevo branding in your emails, and A/B testing needs the Standard plan or higher. Standard is the lowest Brevo plan that includes every tool our service uses.

Do you set up Brevo automations like a welcome series?

Automated workflows are not part of the $1,000 monthly plan, which covers 8 one time campaigns. We can quote a welcome series, abandoned cart or post purchase workflow separately. Brevo's pricing page lists unlimited automated workflows as a Standard plan feature, so plan on Standard or higher for them.

Will my Brevo campaigns follow CAN-SPAM rules?

Yes. Every email we send has a working unsubscribe link, your physical postal address, an accurate sender name and an honest subject line. The FTC also requires opt out requests to be honored within 10 business days. Our CAN-SPAM compliance checklist lists every rule.

Is EmailMarketingAgency.com part of Brevo?

No. We are an independent email marketing agency operated by Momo Digitals. We log in as a user you add to your Brevo account, and you can remove that access whenever you like.

Who owns the Brevo account if we stop working together?

You do. The account, contacts, templates and campaign history stay with you the whole time. The plan is month to month, so you can end it after any month.
